2022 Acura MDX Model Review in Dallas, TX
You may have missed the MDX over the 2021 model year. Instead of releasing an installment in 2021, Acura has perfected the MDX model to release it for 2022, new and improved. While Acura has been building their impressive-yet-tiny repertoire of models, the MDX has made a name for itself among other SUVs on the market. With three rows, the MDX aims to compete with some of the more well-known luxury SUVs like the Expedition and the Suburban. We think it succeeds in overtaking them, especially when you enjoy the MDX with its turbocharged engine. Let's explore what makes the MDX so special!Trims and Prices
For 2022, Acura is releasing five trims for the MDX. However, the top tier trim, the Type S, won't drop until this summer.ÂWe can still explore the other four trims, and their respective prices:
Most SUVs released in the 2021 model year had anywhere between an 8.0-inch and 11.0-inch touchscreen. While that was impressive, the 2022 MDX offers a sizable 12.3-inch display which houses every technological advancement you could ever need. While Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both standard across all trims, the Technology trim offers a few upgrades, like an ELS Studio stereo system with 12 speakers. There are also plenty of standard safety controls, including automated emergency braking, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control.
- Base starting at $48,000
- Technology starting at $52,600
- A-Spec starting at $58,000
- Advance starting at $61,600
- The Type S trim is expected to be upwards of $65,000, accounting for its enhanced performance options.Â
